We have much abused parenting role in partners, when it comes to women treating their partner as child. That's true, because all that women get to do in our social structure is to take care of parents, children and husbands, and friend(is they are better off).
But i find it important that we do little bit of parenting in our relationships.
It helps a lot
It erases the deeply inbuilt individual nature in our ways of dealing with power politics.
Ultimately it is not power that everybody aims at.
Ultimately it is not growth that everybody is born for.
There is life in between.
